1. Who We Are

This website and service are operated by Ben Fitch trading as UK White Collar Boxing (“UKWCB”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the website, creating an account, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Supplemental terms, policies, and notices posted on the site from time to time are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms by updating the effective date above. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account.

The platform is intended for users aged 13+. If local law treats you as a minor, you must have parent/guardian permission and supervision.

4. User Representations

By using the site, you represent that:

• your registration information is true, current, and complete;
• you have legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
• you will not use bots/scripts or other automated means to access protected areas;
• you will not use the site for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable law.

5. Our Platform and Content

UKWCB provides a platform for boxing events, profiles, rankings, and fan engagement features. Some content is embedded from public sources and includes third‑party footage. We may also display user‑submitted or admin‑verified information.

6. Rankings, Popularity, and Fan Judging

6.1 UKWCB rankings are generated by an algorithm using verified bout data, opponent record at bout time, win method, activity, time-based adjustments, and related internal weighting. Rankings are not opinion-based and may change when historical data is added, corrected, or verified.

6.2 Ranking positions may be shown in filtered or paginated views. The rank number shown remains relative to the wider eligible field for the relevant scope, not only the entries visible on the current page.

6.3 Popularity rankings currently use YouTube view-count data and related trend data from linked bout videos via the YouTube Data API. Popularity views, totals, averages, and trends are third-party dependent and may change due to API limits, data delays, deleted videos, privacy changes, metadata corrections, or platform-side updates outside our control.

6.4 Where shown, “Trending” popularity values reflect the best available recent view-change baseline from the previous 1 to 7 days and are designed to surface breakout movement. They do not guarantee exact real-time momentum.

6.5 Public fan judging is for entertainment and community engagement only. It is not an official or authoritative result and does not replace, override, or amend official event decisions.

6.6 Current fan judging is limited to points-result scorecards and draw decisions only. Other bout outcomes may be excluded from fan-judging features.

6.7 UKWCB may calculate fan-judge points, consistency ratings, agreement percentages, stars, badges, moderation flags, temporary judging bans, or similar trust signals. These are platform features for community use and moderation and are not professional judging accreditation.

6.8 We may remove scorecards, ignore malformed submissions, moderate extreme submissions, or restrict access to fan judging where we believe it is necessary for platform integrity, abuse prevention, or community safety.

6.9 UKWCB may also display editorial or algorithm-assisted showcase sections such as “Featured Fighter” and “Featured Fight”. These features are platform highlights only. They are not official titles, awards, sanctioning decisions, or guarantees of status, matchmaking, ranking permanence, or future selection.

6.10 “Featured Fighter” may use a combined score derived from current UKWCB ranking position and popularity position, together with tie-break factors such as verified video performance. “Featured Fight” may use recent verified points-result data, ranking movement, linked video availability, and other internal selection criteria designed to highlight notable recent matchups.

6.11 Featured sections may change automatically when new bout data, ranking updates, popularity data, corrections, or moderation actions are processed. UKWCB may also amend, pause, or remove featured sections at its discretion.

6.12 UKWCB may also display fighter experience classes such as Class C Fighter (Novice, 1-2 recorded bouts), Class B Fighter (Intermediate, 3-4 recorded bouts), and Class A Fighter (5+ recorded bouts). These labels are informational tools intended to help promoters, coaches, and matchmakers interpret recorded ring experience on the platform.

6.13 Fighter class is derived from the number of recorded past bouts currently held by UKWCB and may change when historical bouts, shadow bouts, verified bouts, corrections, or removals are processed. Fighter class does not replace promoter, coach, matchmaker, medical, safeguarding, or sanctioning discretion.

6.14 UKWCB Weight Divisions

UKWCB may also display a fighter profile weight and a UKWCB platform weight division. These divisions are used to help organise profiles, improve matchmaker filtering, and make fighter pages easier to interpret on the platform.

UKWCB weight divisions are platform-specific and do not necessarily mirror the exact category limits used by every amateur body, professional body, promoter, or sanctioning organisation. They are informational tools only and do not override official bout agreements, weigh-in rules, medical requirements, or promoter discretion.

7. Shadow Bouts

“Shadow bouts” are unverified bouts and may include user-submitted bout reports pending review.

UKWCB may display shadow bouts with an unverified status marker. Shadow status indicates the result is not yet formally verified by UKWCB.

Submission and review tools for new shadow-bout entries may be released in stages by feature area. Display of existing shadow bouts can be live even where a specific submission button still shows “coming soon”.

8. Safety Warning

Some profiles may display a “28‑day safety review” banner based on recent verified bout results. This is informational only. Decisions remain at the discretion of the relevant matchmaker/promoter.

9. User Content, Profile Updates, and Uploaded Images

9.1 Users may submit certain content or data, including boxer profile image uploads, one-line profile text, claim requests, bout submissions, notices, complaints, and other profile updates where those features are available.

9.2 You must have the right to upload, submit, or share any content you provide, including any required permissions, consents, and releases.

9.3 Profile images and profile text may be moderated before or after publication. We may resize, compress, crop, reject, replace, remove, or revoke such content where needed for speed, quality, safety, rights compliance, or platform integrity.

9.4 You grant UKWCB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, use, display, adapt, resize, reproduce, and distribute submitted content as reasonably required to operate, protect, improve, and promote the service.

9.5 You must not upload profile images or other media you do not own or have permission to use. This includes third-party photographs, agency images, branded media, and watermarked images unless you have the necessary rights and permissions.

9.6 If you are a photographer, rights holder, or authorised representative and believe an image on UKWCB has been uploaded without permission, you should submit a notice via /notice-and-complaint/. We may remove or restrict access to the image while reviewing the complaint.

9.7 Repeated unauthorised image uploads or other rights-infringing submissions may result in removal of content, suspension of upload privileges, claim revocation, account restrictions, or termination.

10. Profile Claim Verification

9.1 Boxer profile claims are verified using social proof. Claimants must follow the on-site claim instructions and send the generated claim code to official UKWCB social media accounts.

9.2 Claim decisions are made at admin discretion. We may approve, reject, revoke, or transfer a claim to maintain profile integrity and prevent impersonation.

9.3 We target claim review within 72 hours but this may take longer during holiday or operational periods.

9.4 Users must not impersonate fighters or submit misleading identity information.

9.5 Claimed-profile tools may expand to other entity types such as gyms, promoters, staff, venues, or officials over time. Any such access remains subject to verification and admin control.

11. Registration, Usernames, and Security

You may be required to register. You must keep login credentials confidential. We may refuse, reclaim, or change usernames that are inappropriate, misleading, or infringe rights.

Password reset and account-recovery emails are security communications intended only for the addressed recipient. If you receive one in error, you must ignore or delete it and must not use the link.

12. Products, Purchases, and Payment

Where products, memberships, tickets, or services are offered, pricing, availability, and specifications may change without notice.

Payments may be processed through third parties including Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce Payments, and wallet providers. You agree to provide current and accurate payment details.

We may refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues, or policy breaches.

Refunds and cancellations may depend on the relevant seller/promoter/partner terms where third-party fulfilment applies.

13. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Upload content you do not have rights to use.
• Harass, defame, or threaten others.
• Attempt to disrupt the site or access data not intended for you.
• Collect user data without permission, scrape protected content, or create accounts by automation or false pretence.
• Impersonate other users, staff, fighters, coaches, promoters, gyms, venues, or officials.
• Upload malware, spam, or code intended to interfere with site operation or security controls.
• Use the site in ways inconsistent with applicable law or these Terms.

14. User Contributions and Licence

If you submit content (including text, images, profile updates, forms, reviews, and other materials), you confirm you have the rights and permissions needed.

You keep ownership of your submissions, but grant UKWCB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, process, and distribute submissions as needed to operate, improve, and protect the platform.

We may moderate, recategorise, restrict, or remove submissions in our discretion, including for compliance, safety, integrity, or legal reasons.

15. Reviews and Feedback

Where reviews, ratings, or feedback features are available, content must be lawful, accurate to your experience, and non-abusive. We may remove or refuse reviews and are not obliged to publish all submissions.

16. Tickets, Memberships, and Merch

11.1 UKWCB enables third‑party sales by promoters, gyms, and merchandise providers.

11.2 Purchases may be fulfilled by third parties (including Printful or similar).

11.3 Refunds, cancellations, or disputes may be subject to third‑party terms. We will provide reasonable assistance in directing your request to the relevant seller.

17. Third-Party Websites, Content, and Advertisers

The site may link to third-party websites or embed third-party content. We do not control or guarantee third-party content, products, services, or policies. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

This includes, without limitation, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, social platforms, video hosts, and embedded media providers.

18. Site Management and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor and enforce these Terms, including restricting access, removing content, suspending accounts, or taking legal action where appropriate.

19. Copyright and IP Complaints

If you believe content infringes your rights, submit a notice via /notice-and-complaint/ with sufficient detail. This includes photographers or image rights holders who believe a profile image or other media has been uploaded without permission. We may remove or restrict access while reviewing.

20. Disclaimers

12.1 The site and content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

12.2 We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.

12.3 We do not provide medical or professional advice.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, UKWCB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

22. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold UKWCB harmless from claims, losses, costs, and liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful use of the site, or infringement of third-party rights.

23. Intellectual Property

All UKWCB branding, original site content, and platform features are owned by UKWCB unless otherwise stated. You may not copy or reuse these without permission.

24. Notice and Complaint Procedure

If you believe content is incorrect, misleading, or otherwise harmful, or if you wish to dispute a profile claim decision, you may submit a notice using the form at /notice-and-complaint/. We will review and respond where possible. Outcomes may include removal, relabelling, no change, revocation, or transfer of claim access.

25. Term, Suspension, and Termination

These Terms apply while you use the site. We may suspend or terminate access/accounts for breaches, legal risk, platform abuse, or other operational reasons.

26. Modifications, Availability, and Interruptions

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the platform at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, failures, or third-party outages.

27. Dispute Resolution

Before formal proceedings, parties should attempt informal resolution in good faith for at least 30 days where reasonably practicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights.

28. User Data, Electronic Communications, and Miscellaneous

We maintain data needed to operate the service and perform routine backups, but cannot guarantee against all data loss. You remain responsible for data you submit.

By using the site and submitting forms, you consent to electronic communications and records where legally permitted.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms and linked policies form the entire agreement between you and UKWCB regarding site use.
