Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 2, 2026

1. Who We Are

This website and service are operated by Ben Fitch trading as UK White Collar Boxing (“UKWCB”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the website, creating an account, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Supplemental terms, policies, and notices posted on the site from time to time are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms by updating the effective date above. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account.

The platform is intended for users aged 13+. If local law treats you as a minor, you must have parent/guardian permission and supervision. Users under 18 must not use the site to arrange, accept, or negotiate bouts without appropriate adult, coach, promoter, medical, safeguarding, and event oversight.

4. User Representations

By using the site, you represent that:

  • your registration information is true, current, and complete;
  • you have legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
  • you will not use bots/scripts or other automated means to access protected areas;
  • you will not use the site for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable law.

5. Platform Scope

UKWCB provides an informational and community platform for UK white collar boxing. Features may include fighter, gym, promoter, venue, staff, official, bout, event, title, ranking, popularity, trophy, relationship-network, Fight Finder, fan-judging, profile-claim, submission, notice, shop, membership, and media features.

The platform combines official or admin-verified data, historical imports, public information, third-party video metadata, user submissions, self-declared data, and algorithm-assisted calculations. Unless expressly stated, platform content is informational and for fan, community, and operational use only.

UKWCB does not arrange, sanction, recommend, approve, medically clear, insure, or supervise fights. Promoters, coaches, matchmakers, fighters, gyms, event operators, medical staff, safeguarding officers, and relevant authorities remain responsible for real-world decisions.

6. Data Status: Verified, Shadow, Scheduled, and Display-Only Information

6.1 “Verified” bout data means UKWCB has accepted the result for platform calculations. Verified data may still be corrected if better evidence becomes available.

6.2 “Shadow” bouts are unverified or review-stage entries. They may be displayed separately and should not be treated as confirmed results unless later verified.

6.3 Scheduled, cancelled, exhibition, no contest, walkover, duplicate, imported, or display-only entries may be treated differently across different features. For example, rankings, trophies, streaks, and profile records may use stricter eligibility rules than public display pages.

6.4 Historical data may be incomplete. Adding, correcting, merging, rejecting, or reclassifying historical bouts can change rankings, records, trophies, profile totals, title history, activity status, and related features.

7. Rankings, Classes, Popularity, and Featured Sections

7.1 UKWCB rankings are generated by platform algorithms using eligible fight-result data and internal weighting such as result, method, opponent context, activity, inactivity, and other ranking factors. Rankings are entertainment and information tools, not official sanctioning decisions.

7.2 Ranking numbers may remain relative to the wider eligible UKWCB field even when a page is filtered by region, class, activity status, year, fighter, or pagination.

7.3 Fighter experience classes, activity labels, regional filters, and weight divisions are platform aids only. They do not replace medical, coaching, matchmaking, promoter, governing-body, insurance, or safeguarding judgement.

7.4 Popularity rankings, live crowns, featured sections, trending tables, most-watched labels, and similar features may use YouTube view-count data, local view-tracking data, page-view trends, popularity indexes, and internal tie-break rules. These values are dependent on third-party APIs, caching, deleted videos, privacy changes, API limits, corrections, and data rebuilds.

7.5 Featured Fighter, Featured Fight, heatmaps, popularity cards, annual or all-time view leaders, and similar highlights are not endorsements, titles, awards, or guarantees of future status. They may change automatically.

8. Trophies, Titles, Live Crowns, and Fighter Networks

8.1 Trophy Cabinet features may display earned trophies, verified titles held, current-holder badges, live crowns, and next-to-earn progress based on platform data.

8.2 Permanent trophies are calculated from eligible verified data, such as verified bouts, verified wins, stoppage wins, opening records, streaks, title chronology, venue-region participation, comeback gaps, or pre-bout score comparisons. Live crowns, including regional number one and most-watched labels, can change as rankings and watch data move.

8.3 Trophy, title, and crown displays are platform achievements only. They are not governing-body titles unless separately identified as verified UKWCB title history.

8.4 Fighter Network, Common Opponent Matrix, Connected Fighters, and Competition Network features are generated automatically from verified bout data and related profile attributes. They are informational tools only and must not be treated as bout recommendations, approvals, medical clearance, or sanctioning advice.

9. UKWCB Weight Divisions

UKWCB may also display a fighter profile weight and a UKWCB platform weight division. These divisions are used to help organise profiles, improve matchmaker filtering, and make fighter pages easier to interpret on the platform.

UKWCB weight divisions are platform-specific and do not necessarily mirror the exact category limits used by every amateur body, professional body, promoter, or sanctioning organisation. They are informational tools only and do not override official bout agreements, weigh-in rules, medical requirements, or promoter discretion.

Division Weight range
Flyweight Up to 52.0 kg
Bantamweight Over 52.0 kg to 56.0 kg
Featherweight Over 56.0 kg to 60.0 kg
Lightweight Over 60.0 kg to 64.0 kg
Super Lightweight Over 64.0 kg to 68.0 kg
Welterweight Over 68.0 kg to 72.0 kg
Light Middleweight Over 72.0 kg to 76.0 kg
Middleweight Over 76.0 kg to 80.0 kg
Super Middleweight Over 80.0 kg to 85.0 kg
Light Heavyweight Over 85.0 kg to 90.0 kg
Cruiserweight Over 90.0 kg to 96.0 kg
Heavyweight Over 96.0 kg to 105.0 kg
Super Heavyweight Over 105.0 kg to 115.0 kg
Openweight Over 115.0 kg

10. Fan Judging and Public Scorecards

10.1 Fan judging is for entertainment and community engagement only. It is not an official result and does not replace or amend official event decisions.

10.2 UKWCB may calculate fan-judge points, agreement percentages, stars, badges, consistency ratings, moderation flags, temporary judging restrictions, or similar trust signals. These are platform moderation and entertainment features, not professional judging accreditation.

10.3 We may remove scorecards, ignore malformed submissions, moderate extreme submissions, or restrict access where needed for platform integrity, abuse prevention, or community safety.

10.4 UKWCB may award separate engagement points for eligible logged-in activity including unique page views, completed fan judging, accepted bout submissions, and eligible net purchases. Engagement points are non-cash, non-transferable, have no monetary value, and cannot be redeemed unless separate future terms expressly say otherwise.

10.5 Judging-related engagement awards may vary according to the judge-rating tier recorded when a scorecard is completed. This does not alter the underlying scorecard, official fight data, or the separate fan-judge rating calculation.

10.6 UKWCB may correct, reverse, cap, withhold, or remove engagement points following refunds, cancellations, deleted activity, reversed moderation, duplicate events, technical errors, or suspected abuse.

10.7 UKWCB may display public engagement status features such as points summaries, engagement ranks, activity badges, or leaderboards. These features are for community engagement only and do not affect verified records, rankings, trophies, titles, bout history, judging ratings, moderation decisions, or eligibility decisions.

10.8 Leaderboards and account engagement displays may show a user-selected public display name. Where the user has an approved claimed fighter, promoter, or staff profile, the public display name may link to that profile, using UKWCB’s profile-priority order.

11. Fight Finder, Matchmaking Listings, and Private Reviews

11.1 Fight Finder is an organised listing and discovery feature for fighters, gym/team groups, promoters, matchmakers, coaches, and show openings. It does not arrange, approve, recommend, sanction, insure, medically clear, or guarantee any bout.

11.2 Fighter availability entries may include self-declared name, record, stoppage record, height, weight, stance, town/city, postcode-derived region, gym/team, other combat experience, availability, travel status, notes, images, YouTube links, linked official profile, and private contact details.

11.3 Promoter or show-opening entries may include event/show name, promoter or matchmaker name, date, venue, venue postcode, postcode-derived region, required fighter slots, weight ranges, experience levels, stance preferences, notes, images, YouTube links, and private contact details.

11.4 Fight Finder data can be self-declared and may be inaccurate, incomplete, exaggerated, outdated, or unverified. Users must carry out their own checks before making any real-world decision.

11.5 Contact details and insider review tools are intended only for confirmed promoters, matchmakers, coaches, and UKWCB admins. These details must not be copied, sold, scraped, posted publicly, used for spam, or shared outside the intended matchmaking context.

11.6 Private reviews, reliability ratings, communication ratings, game-to-fight indicators, weight-reliability notes, jobber-style or similar insider comments, and moderation flags are confidential operational tools. They must be honest, relevant, non-defamatory, and based on genuine experience.

11.7 UKWCB may auto-approve, moderate, hide, edit, reject, remove, or flag Fight Finder listings or private reviews. Auto-approval does not mean UKWCB has verified the entry or endorsed the person, event, or matchup.

11.8 Swipe to Fight is available to logged-in users aged 18 or over who hold an approved fighter claim and accept the current Swipe terms. A claimed fighter may create and activate linked Fight Finder details without waiting for separate listing approval. Opting in makes that fighter discoverable to other eligible Swipe users.

11.9 Swipe first presents compatible opted-in Fight Finder candidates using self-declared or platform-held information such as weight, recorded experience band, availability, region, team, and willingness to travel. If no such candidate is available, the feature may present clearly labelled fighters drawn from verified UKWCB fight records. A verified-record discovery card does not mean that fighter has joined, opted in, consented to contact, or been recommended by UKWCB.

11.10 Availability, weight, self-entered record, travel status, and other Swipe or Fight Finder details marked as added by a fighter remain separate from trusted UKWCB records. They do not change verified records, rankings, trophies, titles, or official bout history.

11.11 Interest in a verified-record discovery fighter remains private and cannot create a match, notification, or message thread unless that fighter later joins Fight Finder and interest becomes mutual. A valid mutual Swipe match creates a private website message thread. Both matched fighters and eligible registered promoters associated with either listed region may read the thread. Eligible promoters may join and post visibly as promoters without further fighter approval.

11.12 Users must not use match threads to harass, threaten, pressure, exploit, mislead, arrange unlawful activity, evade safeguarding requirements, or share unnecessary sensitive medical or safeguarding information. Users may block participants and report messages. UKWCB may inspect, retain, remove, restrict, or disclose thread content where reasonably necessary for moderation, safeguarding, legal compliance, or dispute handling.

11.13 Swipe passes may expire, candidates may reappear after profile changes, and UKWCB may change matching limits or eligibility rules to improve safety and platform integrity.

12. User Content, Uploads, YouTube Links, and Licence

12.1 Users may submit content or data including profile images, show images, YouTube links, profile text, claim requests, bout submissions, fighter availability, event openings, notices, complaints, scorecards, private reviews, and other updates.

12.2 You must have the right to upload, submit, link, or share any content you provide, including all permissions, consents, and releases. Do not upload or link content that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, safeguarding, or other rights.

12.3 We may resize, compress, crop, embed, reject, replace, remove, hide, or revoke submitted media where needed for speed, quality, safety, rights compliance, moderation, or platform integrity.

12.4 You grant UKWCB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, use, display, adapt, resize, reproduce, process, and distribute submitted content as reasonably required to operate, protect, improve, and promote the service.

12.5 YouTube links and embedded videos remain subject to YouTube and Google terms and policies. Videos may stop working or display different metadata if the video owner, YouTube, or Google changes availability, privacy, embedding, or API access.

12.6 If you are a photographer, rights holder, featured person, parent/guardian, or authorised representative and believe content has been uploaded or linked without permission, submit a notice via /notice-and-complaint/.

13. Profile Claims and Managed Profiles

13.1 Boxer profile claims may be verified using social proof, admin review, claim codes, account checks, or other identity checks. Claimants must follow the on-site claim instructions.

13.2 Claim decisions are made at admin discretion. We may approve, reject, revoke, transfer, limit, or suspend claims to maintain profile integrity and prevent impersonation.

13.3 Claimed-profile tools may expand to gyms, promoters, staff, venues, officials, or other entity types. Any such access remains subject to verification and admin control.

13.4 Gym owners, coaches, team managers, promoters, or authorised representatives may be able to manage multiple fighters or listings. They must have permission to submit information for those people.

14. Registration, Usernames, Public Display Names, and Security

You may be required to register. You must keep login credentials confidential. Your login username may be different from your public display name.

You may choose or edit a public display name for account areas, community features, engagement displays, and leaderboards. Public display names must not impersonate another person or organisation, falsely suggest verification or endorsement, include abusive or unlawful content, or infringe third-party rights. We may refuse, reclaim, change, hide, or reset public display names or usernames that create legal, safety, moderation, impersonation, or platform-integrity concerns.

If your account has more than one approved claimed profile, public name links may use the following priority unless UKWCB changes the feature: fighter profile first, then promoter profile, then staff profile.

Password reset and account-recovery emails are security communications intended only for the addressed recipient. If you receive one in error, you must ignore or delete it and must not use the link.

15. Products, Purchases, Orders, Tickets, Memberships, and Payment

Where products, memberships, tickets, or services are offered, pricing, availability, and specifications may change without notice.

Payments may be processed through third parties including Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce Payments, and wallet providers. You agree to provide current and accurate payment details.

We may refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues, or policy breaches.

Refunds and cancellations may depend on the relevant seller/promoter/partner terms where third-party fulfilment applies.

UKWCB may enable third-party sales by promoters, gyms, merchandise providers, fulfilment providers, or event partners. We will provide reasonable assistance in directing your request to the relevant seller where applicable.

15.1 Approved claimed fighters, staff members, promoters, and gyms may offer paid profile sponsorship placements. The claimed profile recipient is the seller of the placement. UKWCB provides moderation, administration, payment facilitation, and profile display services and charges a separately disclosed platform administration fee.

15.2 The recipient sets the listed sponsorship price and remains responsible for Stripe processing charges, refunds attributable to the recipient, disputes, chargebacks, negative balances, tax treatment, invoices or tax documents they are legally required to provide, and fulfilment of the paid placement.

15.3 A sponsorship provides only the approved logo, business name, link, and paid period shown at checkout unless separate written terms expressly say otherwise. It does not guarantee traffic, impressions, endorsement, exclusivity, social-media promotion, sales, or any other result.

15.4 Sponsorship requires recipient acceptance, UKWCB compliance approval, and confirmed payment before publication. UKWCB may refuse, suspend, remove, or cancel a placement where the sponsor, destination, claims, logo, business, or conduct creates legal, payment-provider, safeguarding, reputational, or policy risk.

15.5 Adult content or services, weapons, illegal drugs, unlicensed gambling, hate or extremist material, scams, and unlawful or misleading financial promotions are prohibited. Tobacco, vaping, CBD, cannabis-related, gambling, financial, and other controlled categories require evidence and specific approval. Prescription medicines and unlawful medicinal claims directed at the public are prohibited.

15.6 A sponsor that supplied prohibited, inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information may have its placement removed and future renewal cancelled without a voluntary refund. This does not exclude statutory rights or card-scheme rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15.7 Sponsors may cancel future recurring renewal. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, cancellation does not create a prorated refund after a paid period has begun. If the recipient ends an otherwise compliant placement early, the recipient may be responsible for the unused-period refund.

15.8 Sponsorships are advertising and are labelled accordingly. Sponsorship does not affect verified records, rankings, titles, trophies, bout history, editorial decisions, moderation decisions, or eligibility decisions. A profile with an active paid sponsorship may be displayed without unrelated programmatic adverts during the paid period.

16. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Upload content you do not have rights to use.
  • Harass, defame, or threaten others.
  • Attempt to disrupt the site or access data not intended for you.
  • Collect user data without permission, scrape protected content, or create accounts by automation or false pretence.
  • Impersonate other users, staff, fighters, coaches, promoters, gyms, venues, or officials.
  • Upload malware, spam, or code intended to interfere with site operation or security controls.
  • Use the site in ways inconsistent with applicable law or these Terms.

17. Reviews and Feedback

Where reviews, ratings, or feedback features are available, content must be lawful, accurate to your experience, and non-abusive. We may remove or refuse reviews and are not obliged to publish all submissions.

18. Third-Party Websites, Content, APIs, and Advertisers

The site may link to third-party websites or embed third-party content. We do not control or guarantee third-party content, products, services, or policies. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

This includes, without limitation, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, social platforms, video hosts, embedded media providers, YouTube/Google APIs, map providers, email providers, fulfilment providers, and advertising networks.

19. Site Management, Moderation, and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor and enforce these Terms, including restricting access, removing content, suspending accounts, or taking legal action where appropriate.

We may use automated, algorithm-assisted, or AI-assisted checks to detect duplicate records, joke names, unusual records, unusual height/weight ratios, spam, abuse, rights issues, suspicious account activity, or other moderation concerns. These checks are support tools and may be reviewed by humans.

20. Copyright and IP Complaints

If you believe content infringes your rights, submit a notice via /notice-and-complaint/ with sufficient detail. This includes photographers or image rights holders who believe a profile image or other media has been uploaded without permission. We may remove or restrict access while reviewing.

21. Disclaimers

21.1 The site and content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

21.2 We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.

21.3 We do not provide medical, legal, safeguarding, sanctioning, insurance, coaching, matchmaking, or professional advice.

21.4 Nothing on UKWCB should be used as the sole basis for allowing a person to box, selecting an opponent, accepting a bout, approving a show, or making a medical or safety decision.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, UKWCB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

23. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold UKWCB harmless from claims, losses, costs, and liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful use of the site, or infringement of third-party rights.

24. Intellectual Property

All UKWCB branding, original site content, and platform features are owned by UKWCB unless otherwise stated. You may not copy or reuse these without permission.

25. Notice, Complaint, Correction, and Data Requests

If you believe content is incorrect, misleading, rights-infringing, privacy-invasive, unsafe, or otherwise harmful, or if you wish to dispute a profile claim, Fight Finder listing, private review, ranking-related data point, media upload, or account decision, submit a notice using the form at /notice-and-complaint/.

Outcomes may include correction, removal, relabelling, no change, revocation, transfer of access, further evidence requests, account restriction, or escalation.

26. Term, Suspension, and Termination

These Terms apply while you use the site. We may suspend or terminate access/accounts for breaches, legal risk, platform abuse, or other operational reasons.

27. Modifications, Availability, and Interruptions

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the platform at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, failures, or third-party outages.

28. Dispute Resolution

Before formal proceedings, parties should attempt informal resolution in good faith for at least 30 days where reasonably practicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights.

29. User Data, Electronic Communications, and Miscellaneous

We maintain data needed to operate the service and perform routine backups, but cannot guarantee against all data loss. You remain responsible for data you submit.

By using the site and submitting forms, you consent to electronic communications and records where legally permitted.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms and linked policies form the entire agreement between you and UKWCB regarding site use.
